Palli Pachhadi/Peanut Chutney/easy chutney/andhra pachallu/Chutney/Idli-dosa chutney

Indian cooking is all about right combination for the food items we eat like Upma-Pesrattu, Puri-Bhaji, Idli-vada, sambar with Papad, et al. A wholesome tasty breakfast is incomplete without the right chutney. Chutney enhances our taste buds and makes our main item even more tastier.

Imagine a Weekend watching your favorite tv show and enjoying a hot breakfast with fluffy, soft Idlis or vadas or dosas with the all time favorite Peanut Chutney. Later treat yourself with Strong, hot steaming Coffee. Wow..........what a start off the weekend!!!.

Well preparation of this chutney is so easy that Bachelors also can kick start the day or weekend with traditional food items like Idlis. ( Readymade batters are available in Desi stores which makes it even more easier to cook Idli or Dosa.)

Peanut and Channa dal chutney is very simple, quick and tastes deicious. This is my personal favorite, I have my breakfast only to eat this chutney :-)

Peanuts have good nutritonal value, They have anti-oxidants and posess rich protien value.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Peanuts
1/2 cup Channa dal
3 red chillies
2 green chilles
1/2 spoon fenugreek seeds
Small lump of tamarind
Salt to taste
Preparation:
1) Heat a pan and dry roast Peanuts until golden brown first and set them aside

2) In the same pan dry roast channa dal until they turn light brown, later add red chilles

3) Mix both of them, add red chillies, green chillies, fenugreek seeds, tamarind, salt,

Your favourite chutney is ready with in 10 minutes. This can stay in the fridge for 3-4 days.
It goes well with Dosas, Idlis and Upma.
